Historical Background
YPSILON was founded in 1987 as a marketing-oriented company, aiming at meeting the needs of the Greek agricultural production. Although at that time it counted just three members, YPSILON very soon started to score its initial successes: it selected its first high quality plant protection products, tested them in a Greek context and recommended them to farmers.
Ten years later, YPSILON had expanded its distribution network in the whole of Europe, having seven times more staff. It succeeded in earning the trust of some of the most well-known companies, by representing exclusively in Greece Advanta and Spiess-Urania.
The company expanded rapidly not only the range of its products (plant protection products, seeds, foliar fertilizers, public health products), but also its export activities to the neighboring Balkan countries.
In 2000 the company moved in its privately-owned new offices and turned its attention to organizing the Research and Development Department. In 2006 the construction of a prototype warehouse complex was completed.
Today YPSILON numbers 33 staff members and comprises an innovative organization active all over Greece, in South-Eastern Europe, Eastern Europe, Middle and Far East.

The qualified sales network of YPSILON covers the entire Greek region. YPSILON products can be found in more than 1.000 spots around Greece.
